Software: Java

Platform: Windows

Level:

Everyone

Tutorial Description: In this tutorial we'll be learning how to declare variables, insert variables into printed lines on the console, and how to use comments! We'll also be coding a program that will calculate how many games are in our game library.

Introduction

Welcome! In this tutorial we'll be learning how to declare variables in Java and use those variables to write a program that will help us calculate the number of video games in our game collection! We'll also learn how to use comments to make notes in our code, as well as turn segments of code on and off. To complete this tutorial, you'll need some sort of Java IDE installed (recommended: Eclipse.) It will also help if you've completed the previous tutorial.
